Combat & Veteran Trauma Therapy
Service leaves its mark. For many veterans, what happens during and after military service can stay in the body and mind long after discharge. If you're carrying the weight of combat trauma, moral injury, PTSD, or the struggle to reintegrate into civilian life - you're not alone.
I am a trauma therapist with over 20 years of experience, including years spent working with veterans at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). I understand the culture, the language, and the complex, layered nature of military trauma. My goal is to offer a space that honors your service while helping you move toward steadiness, self-trust, and connection again.
My Approach
An integrated, trauma-informed approach that respects your readiness and pace.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) — VA-researched and highly effective for combat trauma and PTSD
Somatic techniques — to calm the nervous system, manage hyperarousal, and rebuild a sense of safety in your body
Internal Family Systems (IFS) — to work with different "parts" of you: the soldier, the protector, the angry one, the one who can’t sleep
Relational & experiential therapy — to help restore connection with partners, family, and your own emotions
Psychoeducation — understanding how trauma affects the brain and nervous system, and why you’re reacting the way you are
